Well, it was a beautiful New Mexico winter day.<br/><br/>You may ask where are the birds? We were asking ourselves the same question.<br/><br/>Continuing a downward trend, this year was the worst. The refuge planted no corn fields this year. No food = no birds. There were very few cranes, geese, or migrating ducks, either. Few hawks, no harriers, few sparrows.
