Hope to be able to scan tomorrow after work…excited to see the results of my first #PushingFilm experiment.

These arrived just in time for a (hopefully) sunny weekend. Time to take Big Chungus (Mamiya C330) back to the lake.

I really enjoyed your comments on the #Phoenix200 pics. I think it’s just not my style, for now. I want to get better at taking better “normal” pictures before I start going for intentional effects.

Shot and developed a roll of Harman Phoenix 200 today. Shot it at 100 per multiple recommendations and developed normal C-41.

Idk how much of this is inexperience vs. shooting an experimental film but there’s definitely some weirdness going on. Going to have to get a roll of Gold 200 or Ektar and shoot it at roughly the same time of day. I’m using a light meter app on my phone, but I’ve used it before with no issues. #FilmPhotography #AnalogPhotography #BelieveInFilm

Took my first stab at bulk loading today. Went with Tri-X 400. Used all the empty cassettes I’d been saving - most are rolls of 36 exposures but I made a few 15-exposure rolls for testing things out.

Hoping my judicious use of Scotch tape joining the film will hold up to winding, especially the motorized winding in my #F100 and my point and shoot. Once I get through the roll of whatever is currently in it, I’ll try a test roll.

I want to want to use proton but I can’t because of the bridge - it seems like an extra step I don’t want to deal with.

I started using Amazon to host my mail (at my own domain) and then moved it to Zoho, which has done well for me - it’s $4 a month and I know that I can move it to another host later if I need to.

I experimented with putting my epubs in Kavita and came to the same conclusion, so I removed them. Calibre web is good for just storing and organizing them, but I’ve recently discovered BookFusion and while it isn’t foss, I support what they’re doing…on a paid plan I get storage of all my books plus synchronized apps to read them on my iohone/ipad as well as my android based ereader. Plus a web view. Not for everyone, but worth looking into.
