So I did something I've never done before and asked an AI to tell me what bird it could have come from and it said Mallee Ringneck, and I reckon they're right. FLight feather with the yellow dot in it shown here

Sorry, I reckon the green edge on the feather means it's definitely not a YTBC. That's a flight feather, so it's a bird with green, black and yellow in their wings. YTBC wings are all black.

Gosh reporting on this has been awful. For V2G to work requires a car that can do it, a charger that's connected and approved and someone to run the V2G. None of that will be working by Christmas

I contend that there are almost no places where solar and wind won't solve it. We'll see I guess. There don't seem to be many "nuclear is the only solution here" use-cases emerging.

I don't think we need *everything*. I actually think that's an absurd idea. We don't need whale oil. What we need is the fastest and lowest cost emissions abatement.

the thing I don't get about nuclear power is that well meaning folks like yourself keep telling me it's the best solution for climate change, but it's not getting built. As if people who build and plan power grids value different things to people on the internet. Why do you think so little nuclear power is getting built and how do we change that?

Hopefully the nuclear sector will realise some of these promised efficiencies real soon. I've been hearing these promises for 20 years now.
