I've been diagnosed by armchair psychologists with mental conditions I don't have, because they want to share in something arbitrary that doesn't fit into a community, and then rejects the conditions I do have, and treat them like they are made up. It's fight after fight after fight with people because the world and spaces need to be cut and tailored to fit them, instead of them fitting into it, and I just feel pulled and cut and beaten, and rejects. I've been the dirty little secret to people, I've been the badguy, I've been this that and the other thing, but very few people have taken the time to actually get to know me. And that is the issue. see I like OOT purely from a gameplay aspect, no so much story, but a lot of the issues when it comes to story of OOT is from the Hyrule Historia making it so crucial to the "time line" which also implicates Majrora's mask being the child succeeds time line in the series. from there everything was altered and changed from that point on for all the other games which is where what you're complaining about got added into it. Standing alone, I think OOT worked because they didn't focus on the story, and they weren't trying to focus on the story, didn't out focusing on the story, but rather to showcase mechnics in the franchise and the new features of the N64, then were both told to redesign from the ground up and rushed to have a game for release basically.

I've found there are people who LOVE stuff, that frankly I don't care much for. and it's fine, I'll admit it's fine and perfectly dandy, but there are people who hear that, and turn it into their personality being attacked.

Example of this, Yesterday an artist I liked posted a "cursed" picture. You know those pictures people post to get a reaction, so it's all haha funny, I get it, I'm old, and as a response I posted a picture of a screengrab of me blocking the artist, and they got the joke. Someone came at me and started shaming me for using light mode. it's because they see darkmode is what the cool people do, and if anyone uses light mode, it's an afront to them. and this is for everything.

I think the best example of this I've ever seen is I dislike VGcats, was never a fan of the comic, not even sure if it's still a thing, but in it's heyday I was at anime boston, and I wanted to go to the dealers den to grab some loot, on the way my friends saw the booth with the VGcats creator, they wanted to go see it, I said "go ahead, I'll meet you in the dealers room" and they got offended. They started yelling at me to go to the booth with them, I said I didn't like VGcats, they grabbed me by my arms and started physically dragging me to the booth, and I screamed "I fucking hate vgcats" the creator looked up, saw me and went "yeah it's not for everyone" and my friends were appalled. but total props to the creator.

People build tribal mentalities that things have to go one way and one way only, look at how AI bros are and how they insist upon it, because commercialized things, aren't just preferences anymore, they aren't just "I find the ease of access of this is superior then this for things I need to get done" it turns into "I'm into this and if you don't like it you have betrayed me and my people, and the punishment is death"

So breaking it down here, you have enough people, not you, who are making GNOME personality quirk, instead of what it is, a tool, and it's okay to like a tool and even prefer it, but then they defend to the death it being used exclusively, then people who hate it have to compose a big doctoral thesis on why they dislike something, because in this day and age, you can't just say "this isn't for me" without the gremlins coming out of the wood work to explain why you're wrong for having an opinion. And this becomes an ouroboros of it now not preferential, but it's a personality trait of hating and liking something, because people feel the need to stand and die with what they like and dislike and I find it stupid that people need to make that distinction.

I've just come from the side of every community I'm in saying "yeah... I don't care for it" and just had people jump down my throat until I've forced myself to become a master of something, just so I can show I now have more knowledge then they do, about something, and detail every little problem or issue with it, just to get someone off my back for disliking something.

And from there I can see how people knee jerk now for anything they dislike having to be that way because communities sometimes get too passionate.

I'm trying to first get other people to help deal with the triggers they can help with. As in giving me more time to myself and not depend on my so much, so I can get around and do little things knowing that I won't be bothered, and fight that irrational fear there. Actually I just thought about it, the little thing I'm going through is an irrational OCD tick, which also means it's very much real in a mental disorder kind of way. So with OCD I've learned things needing to happening irrationally, doesn't mean I don't understand how irrational it is. It is, and I hate that it is, and I hate I have to do something illogical to get certain things down. Like I can't cook until I do all the dishes. or I can't little unless someone else wants me to little, but if it doesn't go step one to step 2, I can't explain it, but something will always go wrong. so answer the second question first. I had bowel issues in my life until 6 or 7 and had to wear diapers, so they were always present in my life.

From there its I had a lot of rage and anger in my life at 16. Struggled with my sexuality, because, shockingly, it was too easy to be gay. Massachusetts, in the cape, in the late 2000s a lot of people were "bi for coolness" types. "Id kiss a guy at a party. But id never date or be in a relationship" types. So admitting i was gay was hard, my mom was institutionalized, dad was dying, brother lived with my dad to help him. So its a lot of wanting to relive that phase of my life while also correcting it. Moving a lot sucked, and I had to grow up quickly.

im 16 when little, so its more of a deflection to stress i still only Date people my actual age(fiance is 36 and im 35) but it does reflect my hobbies. I like learning new things, watching true crime, my fantasy scenarios are high-school related instead of nursery and day cares, I like building models, sewing, making candles and soap, and other hands on stuff for the older kids. Also mixing in getting high is a part of that. But I also do like incorporating diapers with my teen side as well.

There was a meme recently now that pixel pals is out(main harlow) where someone quipped that its like a fighting game and the old multi print characters in the background. 100% peeks. Especially long girls. There is something similar to what I wore in the 90s when I was a kid(potty trained for medical reasons at 7) and it has the feeling and similar look to early 90s plastic backed huggies.
