Why though and who is he? Zach, my Zachy, but his fans know him as Fenrir or MadManFenrir (look him up). I see his struggles and his beaming creativity clashing every day and am unbelievably lucky to be someone who can help him get up, take part in his strategy, writing and all things behind the scenes, do whatever I can do to help this incredibly unique individual reach incredible success in his creative work. He's the light of my life and he inspires me. Zach is a hilarious comedian, an incredibly talented and skilled VFX artist and video editor, an incredibly passionate filmmaker and the love of my life. He's Bermudian, islander, and spent much of his youth in Vermont, US, but only as a tourist. Now, the numbers though, his high following and committed fanbase, doesn't it all mean he's making lots of money?? Well, no. He's okay, he's making a living out of what he loves most, but he doesn't have the savings or support necessary to take such a big step - moving to the United States. At the moment Zach lives with me temporarily in Israel after we've lived years in London together, pursuing our careers in music, jewelry and film. Today is my birthday, I'm officially 25 years old, and it's also the new year at the same time so I'm writing down my goals and priorities. One of my main wishes this year is to move to the USA to live there part time, between my home in south Israel and the New England area states. I fell in love with Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine on a recent visit, and my beloved also lives there. Additionally, I wish to connect more with the incredible Jewish communities around the USA, sell my works at events and network with music and film professionals as I'm a multi-passionate artist. My goal is always the same in different art mediums, to turn pain into beauty that connects people at a time of much polarization, to create art that brings us all together to enjoy beauty, love and creativity with each other. Coming to the US requires investing around 10K USD for legal fees and flights, and I'm currently struggling to make as much as my current living costs are because I also study at Sapir at the same time of working two creative jobs and struggling with 9 disabilities. I don't want to ever lose my financial independence or let financial difficulties stop me from fulfilling my creative life and small business dreams. It's been a mind blowing year for better and worse, and after so much change I feel like a blank canvas, with lots of professional and life background but also openness to life's possibilities. I couldn't see covi*d coming or the war starting in Israel exactly where my parents and I live. I couldn't expect so much support in my art works nor could I expect the challenges that have come with it. I set goals and am committed to achieve them, but my ability to do so depends on my customers and art supporters. If my art is good enough to love, wear, give or own, then I'll be able to achieve my missions of creative growth, community and fulfilment. After being tired of another game presenting nonbinary people as gender hating and attention seeking.

Trigger warning: criticism about the nonbinary and trans community (as a nonbinary intersex person).

Fun fact: it is entirely, and completely possible, to be transgender and/or non-binary without alienating people for the crime of not understanding or even validating you.

I don't know why our gender diverse community is so insatiably busy with isolating ourselves from everyone who doesn't care about our gender identity. Why the trans and nonbinary communities literally promote social isolation and forcing people to use any pronouns or validate our gender identities.

I say my pronouns are they/them as in those are the ones I see as most fitting. But I couldn't give less of a fuck about my pronouns being misused.

And please don't give me the "well some people have gender related traumas" as an excuse to be forceful with this, you have no idea the depths of PTSD I have from gender related traumas and accumulated hurt. But unlike the absolute majority of this community, I'm not building my entire personality and identity on the basis of having trauma - which does the opposite of healing because of our psychological effect of subconsciously wanting to keep our identities (for example being traumatized) what they are if they are socially validated no matter how bad they are for us.

I've been through being jobless and crying all day for years while blaming absolutely everything on my gender and on traumas and abusers and that's a shit way to live. You know what's even worse? Being so weak that you force people to validate you obsessively instead of being strong and not let people touch you. And yes - you're gonna have to make yourself strong because no one else is going to do it for you.

My closest friends and family can often mispronoun me. I used to think I'm supposed to have panic attacks and fights over this so I did. Until one day I figured I really don't have to lol. Gender is a very important thing for me and I celebrate my gender chaos, mixing and out of the norm gender identity and expression, but it's not nearly as important as my healthiest relationships, my art, health and work - which is what my close friends and family help a TON with, probably are the ones who kept me alive at my hardest times as well and the ones who make me laugh and smile every day feeling deeply supported and capable.

Yes - the people who often misuse my pronouns kept me alive. You know what else they do? Rarely say a racist joke. Occasionally make an uncomfortable comment. Disagree with me on politics. Have doubts about some of my life decisions.

All of that is called being HUMAN. Not politically correct - but also not assholes.

I did cut a TON of people out of my life too. If someone tries to force gender norms on me or call me insane or smth for being nonbinary they are absolutely out of my damn life. Some political disagreements are too personal for me to pass on, too.

But I no longer live in absolute obsessive anxiety cutting people off over God damn pronouns lol.
I no longer cut people off because they made an out of place joke.

Most importantly - I no longer have this obsessively narcissistic trait which says my life are harder than the lives of people who are straight or white or cis, because I learned those people often have difficulties very different yet as deeply traumatizing and difficult to live through as myself as a rape victim, and a non binary intersex neurodivergent person with chronic illnesses and many mental illnesses.

Yes, you can absolutely be transgender and still have a much easier life than a white cis rich guy in many aspects. You have very very different struggles in very different topics. Empathy means being able to recognize that all humans suffer.

And honestly?
Living through war and rapid antisemitism very very directly related to me as someone from 2.5 miles away from the border - really gives some perspective on what relationships are actually good for me and what's actually important to me in this life.

I still occasionally correct people about pronouns, rarely but I do sometimes. But not aggressively. Not forcefully. And not in a way that attacks or isolates anyone. And I still stand my ground if people very rarely try to claim that I'm a woman forcefully and say women are amazing but I'm not a woman.

And pronouns obsession and an attempt to control others is not a 0.000000001 percent as important for me as being gender free in my own mind and expression.

Every single day I stare at that man and say "God you're hot".
Every day I look in his eyes and tell him "you're so damn beautiful".

We work together, we travel together, live together, we are entirely each other's.

And every single day we both tell each other how much we miss our boyfriend, have calls, games, watch movies together, update each other about every little thing but without stress, sometimes talk for hours and sometimes don't talk all day, both barely noticing.

Many people often try to tell me that there's something wrong with me or our way of life. As if we're dying of jealousy or something, I don't even remember the last time I felt jealous. As if they or I, are not good enough for each other so we need a third to distract us from our troubles. We aren't perfect, we don't fight much but when we do we heal from it, and I think we're perfect together, as couples and as a throuple.

A throuple is not a throuple because the individual parts can not be happy. A throuple is a throuple because we are very happy alone, completely, endlessly passionately in love.

And with all that, additionally even happier together with our boyfriend, which is a part of why we're working towards a move to the USA hopefully next year. 🇮🇱❤️🇺🇸

An interesting thing I learned in person from living on the border with Gaza is how selective the fighting is.
I may not be able to hear all gun shots but I can hear all military strikes by IDF. A few times a day there's a loud boom, and occasionally the sounds of a warplane shooting to the ground. It's not consistent fighting, it's not all day long, some days it's completely quiet. The damage is still very much real, both to Hamas and to civilians in Gaza. But it's just interesting to know first hand what the situation is and how far it is from how it's often being falsely presented as endless fighting aimed at civilians or indiscriminate against them.

About the contrasts.

I feel a need to address this because often people DM me or say nasty things about me because they can't comprehend the contrasts of my life are real.

And also, I just like to write so let's dive in, a TW, I am brutally honest about traumas and joys. TW sexual trauma general mentioning, disability, bullying and gender.

In this photo I am in Bermuda, a breath taking tropical island I lived in for 3 months as my fiance is Bermudian. He's also a well known influencer and we work together a lot (I do his merch, strategy, co-writing and a lot more). I have two fiancés I'm absolutely happy and completely, helplessly in love with. I have a successful small business which allows me to save a bit and travel (though I still can't def afford a music degree in the US which I was accepted to). I had a lot of great worldwide press for my music and film work. My family is very supportive and I have a few good friends who stuck with me. I'm studying sound and music composition for films and games in Israel now which is wonderful. I'm 25 soon and many people tell me often I've achieved so much but I'm only getting started.

And also

I have 9 disabilities (NVLD, ADHD, DPDR, GAD, severe OCD, Clinical Depression, cPTSD, IBD ulcerative colitis and as diagnosed just a few days ago, a psychosomatic disorder). I was raped and psychologically abused by two past relationships in my youth. I've been sexually assaulted a few times after that. I have PCOS which means I'm female but on the intersex spectrum, and I am genderless mentally, I came out as genderless way before I ever knew being nonbinary even existed as a concept, when I was 17 and for me it also comes with me having had lots of body and gender related struggles which I can comment on in a separate post (but I'm happy with my body today). I've been extremely bullied in my entire childhood and teenhood years, I still have nightmares about that. My parents also survived October 7th and I had been traumatized by this to the point of an over 6 months long psychiatric emergency which in combination with antisemitism and a wave of hate to all things Israel by my last friends, led to me losing almost all of my friends, getting completely mentally scarred and leaving London where I lived and worked part time.

My point is this - I can be strong capable and happy in some ways and a victim or suffering and disabled in others.

And both are real, being one doesn't take away from being the other, they are all true, (and are way too detailed here because of my truth-severe-OCD).

We all have contrasts like this, it's just called being human, but maybe in my case it is more extreme, to both directions, than what many people are used to.

That's ok, I'm just done with people lying about me or to my face, or being abusive to me, by saying I shouldn't be speaking about my family surviving the massacre or my hostage relative because I also got to visit Bermuda or make a lot of sales of my handmade art to hundreds of happy customers.

How the hell, do those counter each other?

Contrasts do not cancel each other in my life. They exist together. I heal wherever I can. I hurt and I shine.

That's my life and if it's not for you, don't DM me, just unfollow me or something I don't care I won't even notice.

But if you choose to stay, let's respect each other, believe each other and support each other. Because we all got our own shit to deal with, and me being who I am for better or worse doesn't't take away anything from you being who you are.

About to go to Omer Neutra's Shivah. It happens in Raanana, where I grew up, a city I avoid due to severe PTSD it triggers. I'm not sure how I feel about sharing my mental health and physical disability conditions and info or how much to do it in good taste.

On one hand I'm an extremely straight forward and obsessively honest person. I like sharing because it's genuinely just authentic for me and I also just have nothing to hide. In a way I'm doing it right now.
As well as, it's useful. Speaking up about disabilities can and does inspire others to feel more comfortable and confident about themselves, understanding they're not alone with their difficulties.

On the other hand, the victim card sickens me. I've had enough of being a victim. I've had enough of people feeling sorry for me and of identity based conversations saying that just because I have certain conditions it somehow gives me a greater right for attention or support when in reality so many people have massive difficulties that may not be as clearly diagnosable and still hugely impact their lives and the way they deal with failures and successes.

I am deeply grateful for the many people who have supported me because of my traumas, abuse, physical chronic illnesses and many trauma related mental disabilities. Empathy is powerful and when someone shares the least we can do is listen with open curiosity and kindness.

But if I keep emphasizing how much of a victim I am, I might just be a victim forever. If I keep inviting people to feel sorry for me, I might create a reality in which I'm forever weak. And is it my fault? No. But is it my responsibility to change it? Absofuckinglutely.

I'm already on this path but sometimes I stumble. Sometimes I still use the victim card with myself and others.

The line is thin but critical, between being aware and taking good care of my many disabilities, to letting them disable me completely, or even just, more than they must.

I may forever have times in which I'll suffer from OCD episodes, panic attacks, mental breakdowns and clinical depression. But I'll do my best to limit those symptoms as much as I possibly can and not allow them from avoiding me of a good life.

I will forever have NVLD, but instead of letting it define what I can or can not do, I'll find alternative ways to do and understand anything I need to achieve my goals.

I may forever suffer from IBD and anemia. But I'll do what I can to manage and if I find a way, heal. And as much as possible, as much as healthy, continue my life with those illnesses, and aspire for joy and health as much as anybody else.

I won't beg for government support of any kind, I'll never take a loan ever in my life, I won't depend mentally on loved ones. I know others may have to. I had times in which I had to as well. But as long as I can change my mindset and health to be more capable of full independence, I place my responsibility and focus on doing so.

I'm a fully independent business owner and I am happy. Inconsistently happy, struggling but happy, overly stressed but happy. In love and happy, studying and working what I love and happy. Living a very strange reality impacted by war but happy. And yes, I have illnesses. And yes, I have many disabilities. But as for my identity, I can recognize my illnesses and take care of them, but I am healthy, I am not ill. I can acknowledge and understand my disabilities, I have many differences and many things I can do better than others naturally and many that I am naturally a lot worse at than most people. But I am not disabled. In fact, I'm completely capable of reaching my goals, it just requires different ways which I'm creative enough to figure out.

It's very hard. It's mind shattering sometimes. It's my body crumbling other times. But it's the truth.

So here I give up my victim card in society and in front of myself and consider myself an equally capable human being.

Capable of artistic, financial and wellness growth.

Capable of everything I want, but most importantly - capable of good influence on others through art.

I feel like I don't look it maybe, I know how to hide it well or do things in spite of it, but I'm incredibly socially anxious. A life time of being neurodivergent, singled out, left alone, "failing" at complying with the social norms of literally every single social group I've been in across different cities schools work environments and across many different countries, all with the same result: I'm, difficult to vibe with. Difficult to understand in body language, can barely understand and naturally respond to the body language of others. And can absolutely not do behavioral or even style gender norms. Maybe I'm not just anxious but I'm, aware, careful, trying to not get hurt or overwhelmed. Sometimes it's useful even. But I wish I didn't go to sleep arguing with people in my head, repeating and fixing moments in which I may have been misunderstood, overthinking, inevitably spending precious time and attention on social anxiety. Funny how I can be seen as outgoing, extraverted and confident when I'm just a little bean who works hard with and against theirself to make sense to, and out of, this world and societies. It's hard and confusing and stressful but I'm happy.

I feel that I'm always a problem, in any community, any group, any app, any platform, any setting. I'm a respectful and kind individual, I don't ever speak offensively to people. Yet, my very existence is a problem to many. And I most certainly do not fit into the groups of alternative people either. Thinking of myself as weird would be the most normal thing I could do, so of course I don't think I'm weird. I don't know what I am. Identity, is a construct made mostly by comparison to a society. But no society ever defined me as anything really. Each community I was ever part of defined me in their own way, which was usually just "I don't know why but I don't want you here." It's hard because it causes delays a lot, and hurts a lot. I lose many people this way. In other ways though, it's a form of progression. It allows me to find short cuts and other paths in life which teach me and allow me to experience many wonderous things that most people in my fields or neiches never experience or learn. I'm not weird, I'm not a freak. I'm not alternative. I'm not normal, surely.
I don't know what I am. But I know I'm loved in the deepest ways possible by the people I crave the love of most, my core family and boyfriends. And I know that I'm ever changing. Maybe one day I'll be more likeable. Easier. But God.... I hope I'll never be boring.

This is the story of my Jewish mother, Rakefet, a survivor of the October 7th Massacre from in the Southern Kibuttzim, Kibbutz Gevim.
My mom, shaking on the phone, had been speaking to me throughout the days of October 7th and 8th, until the IDF finally arrived for the rescue. She kept saying "everything is ok don't worry", even at her most fearful, she thought of my own fragile mental health first and tried to calm me down. But I knew from her voice that nothing was okay at all.

On October 7th, Hamas terrorists tried to infiltrate their Kibbutz, there were gun fights for a while at the gate, my parents hearing the gun shots and bombs meters away from them, but then one Israeli man wore IDF uniform he had in his home and went out to fight Hamas and they just ran away - they thought it meant IDF was already there when they had been hours away, and the terrorists had comitted the massacre on both Kibbutzim surrounding my family's house including 14 dead at the gas station right outside of their Kibuttz.
Luckily, they were rescued. But she lives with depression and PTSD still, surviving the mental affects of the massacre every day. But, my mother is capable of healing. She has this trait of wonder, of finding hope in impossible situations. I thought, if jewellery making is so therapeutic for me, maybe that could help her heal as well? The act of beading and designing is a wonderful mix of unique creativity and self expression at one part, followed by a repetitive meditative part in every necklace, so I gave her many of my materials (I have an active small business) and taught her how to bead.

To my joy and surprise, she too, fell in love with jewelry making and this creation helps her heal so much. Her smiles these days are more rare thab before, but every time someone orders she fills up with pure hope and joy.

I layered her necklaces and added my handmade earrings, photographed and uploaded listings to my website for her, in my mother's collection "Mom's Jewelry". All of the listings with Rakefet in the headline are handmade by my mom.

The saddest thing to me in western society is the infantalization of middle eastern people. Many in the Mastodon community make a great example of it: predominantly white people, speaking to other predominantly white people, reading articles reading by either predominantly white people or not white people who have very little to do with their non white cultural background (for example, a 3rd generation Palestinian who grew up in NYC).

It's very rare to non existent, for me to see people who listen to the actual sources in our war, being, Palestinians currently living in Gaza and Israelis living in Israel who are directly affected by the war.

When I speak up, I get called brain washed.
When they speak up, they get called brain washed, too.

Now, they used to be. Hamas have very little power today, and the Gazans are waking up. It is in fact, possible to be brain washed when you get faced with violence for speaking up against your ruler.

Which is why it's not possible for Israelis. We can not be brain washed because we do not live in a society where our government kills whoever speaks against them or even throws into jail, outside of very very rare cases which may be justified when it's about literally calling to kill a person in the government and other similar extremes.

In fact, I have never seen a people more vocal against their government, I went to tons of protests myself, and we very much speak negatively against our government and there are posters calling Bibi a liar, saying he abandoned us - all over the country, all over Tel Aviv, and he can not take them off, he can do nothing about it.

And it really doesn't matter if you listen to late generation Palestinians nor does it matter if you listen to American Jews or late generation Israelis, when it comes to hearing the people living today affected directly by the war, you need to hear me. My parents. My family. And the people of Gaza too, not Hamas, but the civilians from whom Hamas steals food, rapes, beheads and shoots for being gay or trying to eat.

Otherwise, if you just keep throwing white slogans of genocide and black and white right and wrong without ever truly listening deeply, predominantly - to the people of Israel and of Gaza, then....

You're just white people yelling at white people lol, and non white but still white-washed, psychologically colonized non white people yelling at others like yourself.

No matter what your view point or opinion is it's irrelevant, it's biased and not based on the true lived experiences of the people living today.

The last few days had been full of especially loud booms. It's been hard on my mental health to have the sudden shakes of windows and loud booms in the otherwise serenity of the Gaza envelope kibbutzim, mine is Kibbutz Gevim. I create to calm down and heal, I've been less capable of communication and promotion for my small business and fixated more on creation. Today I took my black doll with a few new sets to photograph at a stunning location with those pink desert flowers I love so much. It's perfectly fine to ask a small business for a discount. It's perfectly fine to ask a small business for prices and decide if it is or isn't a good fit for you.
When it comes to necessary services, like for example, plumbing or medical care and so on, I do believe there should be prices based on industry standards.

But when it comes to handmade accessories, which you would only buy because you truly want them deeply, it is absolutely not fine to tell a business how much they should charge, compare their works to the works of others who charge cheaper or tell them how much their work and time should be worth.

I do not need to justify my costs to anyone more than any luxury multi billion brand does, and if they would have valued their work lower then they would have never become what they are today.

Respect small businesses or you would be enforcing a reality with no possibility for creatives to grow.

Feeling strong after a very difficult day because I realized something.

Inspired by my partner's response when I said "I feel like a failure" he said "you aren't failing you're just preventing success" which to be fair could have been taken gaslighty but he said it in a cute voice and then helped me get back to work, and in this situation was exactly what I needed to hear because it's true.

That already got me out of bed.

Then led into a realization that, all the people who ever made me feel like a failure, anyone who ever raises my heart beat, my traumatic triggers - they aren't real dangers to me.

In fact, the only thing they can do is slow me down from reaching my goals and my joy.

.... and that's a power I can very easily take away from anyone I ever have any struggles with, by simply, getting myself back to focus and continue progressing.

There's a word perfect for that: תאכלס
A word of practicality and focus.

Tachles, get back to work, they ain't worth your headspace when you can use it to reach your goals. 😊❤️

And if I still refuse to get out of bed (or in this case, the hammock), this kitten that adopted me should be the only reason why. 🥰

It's not about the things you said as much as it's about the lack of context which manipulates a completely false understanding of the situation, and if you prefer to listen to external media rather than someone who literally lives right next to Gaza, has a cousin held hostage and was on the phone with their parents on October 7th who by pure luck had been saved whilst their neighbors were raped and slaughtered and burned alive, then you only prove your own bias.

Look, your information is extremely biased, most of what you said is not even true, and I've seen those lies pushed endlessly. I appreciate your attempt to hear more sides and can suggest you to read more specifically from Israelis like Hen Mazig and others.
