I don&#39;t have any other social media. I understand that Nostr is a protocol and many apps can be built on it, which is fantatic. I guess I don&#39;t value the micro blogging / twitter like experience. I am frustrated because I want a social experience.<br/><br/>I don&#39;t care about memes, influencers, or updates about people days. I want signal, project updates, events, ... I understand I have control over who I follow. <br/><br/>Why are followers public? I don&#39;t want to publish everything I follow or who follows me. To me it just away to profile my account for ads. I see value in sharing my follow list to people I follow; it builds a web of trust. I think there are different types of users and businesses probably should be more public.<br/><br/>Why post? I really only want to post to a group of specific people. <br/><br/>I am not trying to shit on Nostr just trying to figure out how I can use Nostr. I dont want a distraction or a public life.
