I enjoyed it a lot and it&amp;#39;s definitely my favorite in the Martin Hench series so far. The connection it draws between the early PC boom in the mid-80s and today&amp;#39;s rampant enshittification makes for a very entertaining read.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;While reading it, I also often thought of the AMC series &amp;#34;Halt and Catch Fire&amp;#34; which I watched a couple of years ago. I seem to remember people slicing the power plugs off broken power bricks and soldering them on to variable voltage laptop bricks. So, that might also be an option for you.
