I&#39;ve mended things before, and sewed a hat pattern but this was my own self-drafted pattern based off of a pair of loungy pants I have. <br/><br/>The elastic waistband is a hot mess. I should have sewn the band in it&#39;s entirety then attached it to the pants, but instead I sewed it like you would a binding *while pinning the elastic* and it was a nightmare and broke two needles. Next time I know better. <br/><br/>At some point I will probably unpick the stitches and redo it, but other than that I&#39;m really happy with the result.
