I ID’d it as a Katydid. A Green Leaf Bug. As it flew it looked like a huge clumsy green fairy, with long legs. It landed on the grass right in front of me, and some big dogs, but I got one of the dog owners to get it, to protect it, and at first he thought I was bullshitting him because it just looked exactly like a leaf, but he picked it up &amp; had it sitting on his finger a while. Its wings perfectly mimicked a leaf.
