When I was at CPAC, 100% of people I spoke with assumed that I had someone wealthy behind the scenes paying all of the legal bills. They assumed this because most high profile legal cases in Australia are funded by a wealthy benefactor - the likes of Bruce Lehrman & Ben Roberts-Smith to name just two, the former who even had his living expenses covered during it all - but no, I have never had any offers of major financial support to relieve the stress of public interest litigation that actually does impact the whole country. In a way, it doesn’t bother me, because I think it is significantly more powerful to have 100,000+ people giving $10. That makes a very important point. Other times, it does bother me, because paying for this stupidity is why my hair started to fall out.

I always hate asking for money, it’s so outside my comfort zone. I remember, at one point, when there was a total media blackout in Australia, I thought I was going to have to stand on a street corner with a paper cup saying, “men aren’t women give me money!” But alas, with hard work & a slowly changing zeitgeist, that hasn’t happened… yet.

Humans can tell the difference between males and females. This is a fact. It actually has very little to do with clothing. There are thousands of gene expressions that make sex clear in almost an instant. Blind people can tell the difference. Deaf people can tell the difference. Basically, even if you don’t have use of all of your senses, you can still tell the sex of people you’re interacting with and/or those around you. It’s that ingrained. Even in the (very) rare cases that a second look is required - for various reasons, many not even to do with gender ideology - sex is confirmed on that second look. This was a very important evolutionary skill for survival. It is involuntary, primal and accurate.

But let’s just say, for fun, that this idiot has even half of a point: that there is an overcorrection by women from years of men invading women’s spaces. Perhaps a trauma response for some. It still isn’t women’s fault. Because it was MEN GOING INTO WOMENS SPACES. They are the first principle here.

I’ve lost my livelihood, spent 3.5 years in federal court & had to raise well over $1million (and counting) all because I know that men are not women and said “no”.

When I got an Australian Human Rights Commission complaint (for “gender identity discrimination”), to settle it meant:
• I would have had to let a man into the woman only platform I created
• let all men who claim to be women into it
• go to “sex & gender education” (aka reeducation)
• pay him $20,000
• publicly apologize
• and, I think, most sinister of all: moderate all content on the platform so men who claim to be women weren’t offended by what women were saying. Not only do men want access to women only spaces, they want to control them.

I’ll never forget the genuine fear I felt while making a choice of what to do. I could cower, give in, and just accept that gender ideology was our new reality & we dare not oppose it. Or I could oppose it. I sat on my balcony to think about what to do. I got the AHRC complaint when I was 14/15 weeks pregnant. By this point, I think I was about 7 months along. I either had to give in or risk years fighting in federal court. Neither options were at all appealing. But…

I knew I was having a daughter (because sex isn’t assigned at birth, taadaaa) and I thought of her. One, she had to have rights. That’s a nonnegotiable to me. She has to be able to say “NO” to a man no matter what he thinks about himself. But also, I have to teach her to stand up for herself in general. How could I do that if I cowered the first time it was really hard? I want her to stand up for herself even if it feels impossible. So I had to as well.

So I said no to settling. No to gender ideology. No to men who claim to be women.

I didn’t have the profile or means of Gladwell. Oh, how much easier it would have been if I had.

Is it great that more people are speaking up? Yes, because we want all people to once again acknowledge reality. Is it brave or commendable at this point? No.

Kirralie Smith (@KirralieS) has been told by the courts that she has vilified men who are competing on women’s sporting teams simply for saying they are men on women’s sporting teams and is now waiting to find out how much money she has to pay them for stating facts. It could be $200,000. She is, rightfully, terrified that she will lose the house that she & her husband have spent their life working for. Women face losing their homes for saying the truth. That’s bravery. (Kirralie’s punishment will be decided in November.)

So before anyone criticizes women for not falling at the likes of Gladwell’s feet, ask yourself why he hasn’t fallen at ours. Autogynephilia is a fetish in which a man becomes sexually aroused at the idea of himself as a woman. The outbreak of “trans identities” amongst fully grown adult males over the past decade or so can, for the vast majority, be connected to the condition of autogynephilia, while they claim to have a “gender identity” of “woman”.

Gender identity has been put into law in many jurisdictions, and in many instances gender identity is overriding sex - which is the immutable characteristic connected to sex based rights. Sex based rights are what women & girls rely on for many spaces, services & sport.

With gender identity in law, it means that an autogynephilic man can use the law to have *more* rights than an actual woman: a man who is aroused at the idea of himself as a woman can use the law to go into a woman’s change room & her objection to that is irrelevant. A sexual fetish has more rights than a woman or girl.

Again, in the vast majority of instances, women’s mere objections to autogynephilic men - that they are actual women or that they should be legally permitted in female spaces - is framed as hatred or bullying. One of the stupidest arguments produced by trans activism, in a field exclusively of stupid arguments, is “I have gender neutral bathrooms in my home” and therefore all women only public spaces should allow men in them.

They seem to think this is the ultimate “gotcha” but it isn’t. It doesn’t even stand up to the most basic scrutiny. Of course, private bathrooms in homes aren’t open to the public, bla bla bla.

But there is another element to this that highlights just how stupid the argument actually is:

Before public bathrooms for both women & men were even invented, people had bathrooms in their homes. The issue was they needed bathrooms in public for when they weren’t in the home.

First, it was men’s bathrooms, because men were out in society. However, only having bathrooms available to men caused problems for women. It was called “the urinary leash” because women were kept at home (or very close to it) due to the fact there weren’t available facilities for them in public. This was actually a women’s rights issue, connected to women participating in society and not just the home.

So, women only bathrooms were campaigned for by women and, eventually, the right was won. All was working very well, women’s bathrooms were a completely non controversial issue for 100 or so years. And then men started to claim to be women and some of the stupidest people on the planet not only took them seriously but expected women to just give up women’s rights - including women’s bathrooms - to accommodate them.

At no point were these men expected to campaign for their own specific needs and get them on the merit of their argument. They were just given what belonged to women. The irony being, they weren’t being treated like women at all! Society had never just given women anything, not bathrooms nor rights.

So, once again, women only bathrooms were campaigned for by women and, eventually, the right was won again. In a sane world, that would be the end of it. It would be insane to just continue repeating history expecting a different result, wouldn’t it?

Now, the men who claim to be women had choices:
1. Do nothing but complain.
2. Continue to invade the women’s bathroom expecting women to do nothing about it.
3. Use the beloved “gender neutral bathroom” at home.
4. Use the men’s bathroom in public on the basis that they are in fact men.
5. Create the stupidest “gotchas” of all time in lieu of an actual argument.
6. Campaign for their own spaces to accommodate their own (supposed) needs.

They did everything but number 6, proving once again, beyond reasonable doubt, that trans activism really is that stupid.
