The landscape was very similar to what we have here in the prairies - lots of farmland, oil rigs, and pasture.<br/><br/>Then all of a sudden we were in the middle of the Badlands. Golf is alot easier when you&#39;re in the fairway!<br/><br/>But I lost a ton of distance with my irons.<br/><br/>I was more consistent. But consistently short or left of the green.<br/><br/>So I tried moving the ball back an inch or so in my stance. Measuring yourself against the par on the scorecard is a setup for failure for the average golfer. <br/><br/>Another problem with the scorecard is that it’s printed on a card and on signs. A scorecard doesn’t change based on the conditions.<br/><br/>Would you expect to shoot the same score at your home course on a cold, rainy, windy day as on a sunny and calm day?
