I am so tired. About 12:30 last night Wonderdog tried to get up for a drink of water and one of her back legs kept collapsing out from under her. Now, she’s going to be 10 in July, &amp; she’s got arthritis; but we also live in an area with brown and black snakes, &amp; she’d been outside for her last wee about 3 hours before. She kept trying to stand &amp; was panting hard. Then she had a small wee on the rug. (Perfectly toilet trained, never happens.) Then a small foamy vomit. EMERGENCY VET TIME! Off we go, she’s excited to get going (arrgh!); We arrive, she wees on desk 🙄 we have chat to the vet, Wonderdog happily trots out the back to see a new fan club.<br/>The vet runs all the tests - no snake bite!
