The ups and downs of entrepreneurship are something I don’t think you can prepare for. You just have to experience them.

I’ve been feeling so much anxiety lately because I don’t know what I’m doing and I don’t know what to do next. I worry about letting down my team and making mistakes. But the reality I need to face is I’ve never done this before.

I’ve never done ANY of this. Why would I know what I’m doing? Why should I know what to do before I gain experience, repetitions, and make mistakes I can learn from?

It’s easier said than done, and I also try to remind myself to be grateful. I’m relatively young, if this doesn’t work out I have time to try again or get a normal job and have a stable career. Anything I do after this can’t be nearly as hard, and I have my health which is the most important thing in the long run.

This is important to me. Other people depend on me. But ay the end of the day I come home to a beautiful family that loves me and I have what I need to enjoy a safe, happy, and peaceful life. That isn’t true for many, maybe most.

I’m new to all of this. But so many before me have gone through the same struggles, almost certainly with less resources, and made it out the other side. I’ve got this. I can do it. I will find a way.

I’ll always be grateful that of all the projects that went to zero I chose Gary Vaynerchuk’s “VeeFriends” project.

I went to 3 conferences in football stadiums across the country and met some of the best people the space had to offer.

Those days are gone, but I’ll never forget my roots where I learned about wallets, self custody, seed phrases—it was trial by fire—and I was one of the lucky ones who made it out all the more primed to understand bitcoin when it crossed my path 🧡

Been feeling anxious about and at work lately. I know this is a chapter in my life if high growth and doing a lot of new things.

I’m gonna get through it and make it out the other side more capable and more experienced for whatever comes next. And I must remind myself it’s ok not to be good at something I haven’t done before.

Whatever happens with this company, good or bad, is always ultimately good in that I’ll have tried without guarantee of success and have learned in the process.

That knowledge is and will be applicable in future projects, relationships and opportunities. I’ve just gotta keep going, and acquire as much knowledge and experience as possible during this volatile chapter.

Been feeling pretty stressed lately with my startup career and I’m never really sure I’m doing the right thing.

I’ve decided I’m gonna keep going and see what happens. Take the lessons as they come. Keep pushing forward and see it through.

Despite it being difficult (often), I think I just have to keep believing in myself, and acknowledging I’m going to feel doubt about many things I have never done. And in the process of doing them, I’ll learn, progress to a point where I have more experience to solve the next problem, rinse and repeat.

The hardest part has been taking care of myself along the way, but recently I’ve recognized this is a necessity to push myself to limits I’ve never crossed. That’s been helping me physically and mentally, and per the theme of this note, I just have to be consistent and keep at it.

Eating enough to sustain, sleeping enough to recover, exercising and moving my body in ways it has evolved to move (the hardest of the three for me, and perhaps the most important for my mental health).

It’s doesn’t feel like I’m special, particularly talented, or smarter or more knowledgeable than anyone else—but I’ll keep showing up, and perhaps that will be what gets me where I want to be.

Constantly feel like I’m just at the beginning of my Bitcoin journey and there’s so much to learn and implement and I’m nowhere near where I want to be (could be using more privacy, stacking more non-KYC sats, earning in Bitcoin)

And then I take a step out into fiat world and I’m surrounded by masses who have no clue any of this is going on (inflation, mass exploitation via aggregated data and the freedom from all of it) and I’m grateful that I’m making progress.

I love my partner so much that honestly I don’t care much for accomplishing much other than spending more time with her.

My primary driver in my life is getting food on the table, getting our bills paid, and keeping our needs met so I can spend time with her when I get home. Go on hikes with her when our schedules align. Try new foods in our favorite restaurants together. Travel to new places and share novel experiences together.

I’m frustrated by home much time I’m not around her these days. Late nights, early mornings (even now I’m working from our bed just so I can be closer to her while she rests).

I know we’ll get there, but I can wait for the chapter of our lives where we can do as we please with our time, wake up when we want, travel when and where we want. We’ll get there. This season of our lives is investment in ourselves and each other.

The season of abundance is yet to come 🧡

When I saw how animals are treated in the food industry it completely changed my perspective on food.

It’s honestly so disgusting that human beings can even participate in the mass violence at scale inflicted on animals to produce the meat products that lines our grocery stores (most of which is thrown away or wasted)

Thank you for sharing this and speaking up, I think most humans deeply care for the well being of animals (just imagine cutting out the teeth of a puppy) and have been taught that animals live happily on farms, completely ignorant to the unfathomable torture and pain these animals experience at scale throughout the entirety of their lives.

Curious what people on nostr are using to code using AI, I’d definitely prefer to run local AI models to help me out but don’t currently know of anything like Cursor that does that

Honestly one of my biggest sources of anxiety—it’s so hard to balance building a business so I can become more financially stable (and stack more sats) and prioritize family at the same time

I’ve found you kind of just have to do it here and there, make time for the opportunities you can while not beating yourself up for missing things when you have to prioritize the work

Pushing every day to get to a point where I can do what I want when I want by investing my pre-kids youth into something that can scale and last so I can exit fiat world and spend my time loving my family and supporting my community 🧡

Currently building a startup myself and I’m feeling this on the daily. I honestly don’t know the best path forward. I’m doing all I can to make my business pop and provide me with the money I’ll need for the rest of my life, but odds are very low that we happen statistically and I’ve never done this before.

One thing I will say though is starting a business makes you grow so much faster than I ever would have in a traditional role. I’m much more self-assured, I know what I want. I’m still scared from time to time, but I’m much better at pushing forward into the unknown out of habit.

I guess we can’t know for sure how it will turn out!

I read this article https://soapbox.pub/blog/understanding-nostr-service-providers/ but I'm still a little fuzzy on what an NSP is. As part of an effort to be more active with vibe coding today (and ultimately learn more coding over time) I spent about $100 using shakespeare.diy to vibe code a website I could use to help me do my job more effectively.

I didn't spend too much time on it, just submitted prompts here and there as I found time throughout the work day.

I had mixed results, but I'm also pretty inexperienced so that could have been a big factor. I made something cool, but I have yet to deploy it and I've run out of credits. I wish I understood better how it worked, but this is part of the learning process I guess. For example, how is the cost calculated? I learned before I ran out of credits that I didn't have a backend set up and that my data is stored in my browser right now (so my testing data is not secure as I'd like it to be).

How does the cost compare to using tools like Claude AI and Cursor? I wish I could see the code at the same time and edit it directly in real time. Maybe something like cursor is a bit better for that. There was also mention in the aricle above about using more affordable NSPs for lower lift tasks but the only option I could easily see was the MKStack NSP (this one is paid per credits used)

What makes using an NSP more private/secure than other centralized tools if it's still using models made by Anthropic or OpenAI? Could I save some money by using locally run LLMs on my own hardware?

I really liked how I could see the app in real time as I modified it, that was very helpful and cool. I think this is an affordable and very quick way to spin up a tool that solves real problems, but also expensive if I really can do something similar on other centralized solutions for $20/month.

if anyone is open to providing feedback, I need some help getting the app deployed and getting a true backend and database hooked up to it so others can test it with me. If anyone has any advice I'm all ears!
