It stole our youth, shattered our dreams,
and planted fear in our hearts instead of safety.
My name is Abdul Karim. I am a father of four children.
My children are not asking for the impossible—
only warmth to protect them from the cold,
food to ease their hunger,
and a safe place to sleep without fear.
Despite all this pain,
I still believe that no matter how long this night lasts…
