Senate Democrats just did something that has not happened in roughly 70 years of the annual defense authorization process.

Every Senate Democrat present voted to block the Senate from beginning debate on the National Defense Authorization Act.

The vote was 50 to 46, falling short of the 60 votes needed to move forward.

This was not a vote on final passage.

Democrats did not reject the bill after debating its provisions, considering amendments or negotiating changes. They voted to prevent that entire process from beginning.

Commercial shipping is under attack. America’s missile and interceptor supplies are facing added strain. Our troops need clear policies, reliable resources and the assurance that Congress stands behind them.

Redirect foreign aid and war funding — start with $500 million to patch roads, rebuild bridges, and fix the broken systems here at home.
4. Remove Illegal Aliens — House the Homeless Instead

Over 11 million illegal aliens reside in the U.S., receiving housing, food stamps, and healthcare — while over 650,000 Americans are homeless, including tens of thousands of veterans. That is immoral. Enforce immigration laws, deport illegal entrants, and use HUD funds to house our own people first.
5. Stand for the Forgotten — 2008 Victims and the Disabled

Millions of Americans lost homes in the 2008 housing crisis, and many never recovered. I ask you to investigate Wall Street fraud, reinstate protections for homeowners, and give aid to those still struggling.
As a disabled American, I also call for real investment in accessibility, medical care, and fellowships for the disabled. We want dignity, not pity — and opportunity, not bureaucracy.
6. End Fraud in HUD and Medicaid

HUD is rife with abuse. A 2020 GAO report found up to $7 billion in HUD waste and overpayments annually. Medicaid fraud costs taxpayers $36 billion a year, according to the CMS. We need full audits and enforcement. That money could fix housing, fund disability programs, and rebuild hospitals.

Mr. President, your America First message changed politics forever. Now finish the job.
Stop funding foreign regimes. Stop the war games. Deport the illegals. House our homeless. Rebuild our roads. Audit HUD. End the fraud.

I am writing to urge a reconsideration of the decision to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles capable of striking Russian territory. Supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty is not vital to US. Current allowing missiles to strike Russia this approach risks escalating the conflict to dangerous new heights.

Arming Ukraine with such capabilities may provoke a severe response from Russia, increasing the likelihood of a broader war and threatening global security.
