In terms of the Vegas book, it is a good book. It is an insightful and interesting book if you take it seriously. It is a fun and silly book if you dont. Thats what really makes the Night Lord books slap, this dude crashed on a planet, accidently decided to incite religious fundamentalists into class war claiming the emperor sent him. He rationalizes the Night Lords to the many humans he befriends. He wins his crusade with them and recovers a present his dad gave him.
