He’s schooled me in jazz and classical, and we now exchange our esoteric playlists. Sometimes it’ll be something like this. Sometimes an almost forgotten pop gem. He knows all the contemporary pianists so he’s also steering me to different interpretations of pieces. He’s also writing a book. Working title, Don’t Shoot the Piano Tuner.
