If you only have a few days (likely jetlagged), I'd recommend Meiji Jingu, Sugamo Jizodori (for the calm), the super-creepy vending machines at 35.696708, 139.771412 (just outside Akihabara), Uenoken and Ueno Ameyko (the gardens and under-track stalls at Ueno), and Senso-Ji's Nakamisa (but, go there in the evening if you can, it's much more serene).

The entire model is much, much larger, about 30 by 60 inches; this is only a small section. It's LORGE.

And, Gatorland is only one of an entire ARRAY of scenes following an entire road trip across the USA, all of them kind of amazing! It's put on by BayLUG, the Bay Area LEGO Users Group.

The show will be hosted at the Museum of American History on Palo Alto, every weekend from Dec 6 to Jan 10, 11am to 3pm. If you have the chance, I highly recommend you stop in and marvel! 😃

Maybe you want to visually examine this one part without the rest of the model in the scene, or maybe you want to export a singular STL for printing and you're not sure your slicer can tell the difference between shapes; whatever. This'll help sweep everything away momentarily and let you focus on one or two aspects of your model, without having to refactor or transplant. There's a few minor bugfixes, but the one bit I'm super happy with is the singular part isolation stuff. It builds on the parting-out of model shapes and allows you to isolate a single part or sub-part within your model onto its own.

It starts with building out a model that has logically distinct, BOSL2-attachable parts, and when you want to isolate one of them, you set it to a global somewhere in your SCAD source: only that part will be shown, regardless of where it is in the child hierarchy.

I have been traveling 177mph now for about 1h40m. I've gone just under 300 miles. Along the way I ate an ekiben, had a snooze, and watched the countryside woooosh by, all without wearing a seatbelt or getting invasively scanned or had my belongings rifled through. I'm chill, I got some work done, and I paid way way less than an air ticket cost.

America, you could have this experience too if you weren't so busy shoving your dicks into the tailpipes of your road-hogging street behemoths.
