Getting rid of them is hard. They&#39;re heavy, invariably broken and ugly. <br/><br/>They&#39;re really hard to cut too. I suspect they used iron-ore slag or similar in their making. Quite a difference between the two. <br/><br/>The commercial kefir added to milk has thickened up and is quite smooth, and has the taste of a gentle buttermilk. <br/><br/>The #kefirGrains version has a little mountain range on top but the underlying milk is still not really thick at all.
