I do want to add - I said I don't want to monopolize but I am going to be responsible for four instances when everything is fully running - 3 of those 4 are not going to be open to the public and will be small ~10-15 user instances max and of those 3 not open to the public - 1 I won't own/use much but just host (https://heretic.mom) 1 will be testing, dev stuff, and experimentation with gotosocial, and 1 will be a demonstration of gotosocial on low-end hardware as an attempt to prove anyone can host an instance if they have an extra 30-50 bucks a year floating around. I don't think I will want to have paws in much more than that - I might offer to host instances at a later date but that will be after I prove reliability of my already ambitious goals

I am going to build my services brick by brick, one piece at a time - and I am going to try my best to not monopolize or put all of my reliance on just one self-hosted server. We use real enterprise hardware in a real data center - and we will expand out to other data centers, other servers as we grow and (hopefully) get some donations in or somehow find a way for me to make some cash to funnel directly to my services. (no this isn't a request for donos - I want to prove myself first, after the cs.org saga I understand if people don't trust me 100% at this point and that is on me for approving the weird ass name sharing agreement I signed up for)

Once again - CSorg is dead, but I am still using systems.cubsex.org for some uptime tracking - including tracking friends of cubsex like boykissers and paws.onl (things might change - but I am busy and lazy rn wait until next week when I have more free time)

cubsex.social - Still on track for a early-mid January 2026 launch

cubsex.chat - Migration still needs to happen and will probably happen sometime between Dec 20th and Dec 23rd time TBD (My schedule is so fucking weird lately yo) Also looking at implementing synapse workers to offload some of the tasks that Synapse has to more copy's of synapse - plans for this are EXTREMELY tbd and should probably go through some testing and verification's first (maybe on the other puppygirl domain that I don't use for tuwunel? idfk lmao)

puppygirl.fail - Will be an instance hosted on the same infrastructure that cubsex.chat and cubsex.social is - likely running gotosocial - this will be my test bench for random things - gotosocial might run on a subdomain along with every other random testing/dev instance shenanigans I get up to next year

puppygirl.haus - This won the poll, so this will be a (less so than .fail) private gotosocial instance running on fresh infra to demonstrate reliability and stability of a pedi instance on low-end infrastructure, this will use a lowendbox-style host provider running limited resources (I recommended a provider in a different post - that will be the one) I will also use this as the base I will use to write a step-by-step guide on starting an instance safely on your own! (expect this between next week and next month - I want to get working on it sooner rather than later) I also plan to use this server to run a tuwunel (another matrix server) on this domain, but if I run into resource exhaustion issues I will deflect that to running on the same reliable cschat infra - this will be semi-public mainly for experimentation (and might end up on .fail instead - everything very tbd)

Dear pedi and cubsex users

Earlier today the lead admin of CutiePaws and the previous hosting provider for Nyaw was contacted by soyjacks, Leafus reached out to me at that time, filled me in on the situation, and requested a space to put as much data as possible. I informed her that I had some infra and storage space that could be used and initiated a backup of all database data from every instance pawinput had data on. At this time all of the data from said sites are in my possession and will continue to be until the indefinite future when this situation can be resolved. At this time we are not planning on using the data to bring Nyaw or cutiepaws back online though plans may change in the future. Right now we are still working behind the scenes to ensure pawinputs personal safety as that is potentially at risk, and the safety of every pedi user that we have data on. Included with this signed statement is a statement from Pawinput regarding their side of things. The delay for any post from me is due to real life obligations, I am done for the day and will be handling this situation from here on out. Please do not spread FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) at this time and only believe information from other sources. Because I have seen people talking about it - I want to remind everyone that the source code for pawkey is still available at https://git.pawlickers.org/pawkey/pawkey for inspection. I want to assure you that there is no spyware available in the current git version and there will never be spyware in pawkey software. We are working on what to do next with that and the matrix services but this is what we know for now.

Earlier this morning I was contacted by a user on soyjak on discord, my inital response was a very panicked reaction, I imedately contacted other admins looking for a place to securely store all pedi data that I possess and Natalia had the imedate space and infrastructure to take said data. She is the sole holder of all data from pawuwu.net matrix homeserver, pawlickers matrix homeserver, nyaw.org fediverse instance and allowed me to wipe the virtual machines from my system. I did respond and talked with the soyjaks and gave them data that I wanted to share, trying to point their targets at people I felt deserved it knowing they would not stop. I want to assure everyone that no personal user information was shared with soyjak and that the only data I still have is pawuwu and pawlickers matrix instances. I am authorizing NataliaWolf to speak on my behalf after this notice as she and I are working closely together to ensure user security and privacy. I am sorry for the inconvenience anyone was caused by my sudden shutdown of Nyaw, I plan to leave pedi permanently after this situation is resolved. We are still working to decide what will come of the matrix instances at this time.
