I don&#39;t think that the official XCOM series is going underwater any time soon, but there is an alternative. Julian Gollop and Snapshot games did make a spiritual successor called Phoenix Point. It even got a large mod recently, aptly named Terror from the Void. I daily drove SailfishOS on Xperia 10 III for three years. Only thing that forced me back to Android was the awful dependencies of Google Play Services on many apps. Also banking apps and the like seem to need hardware attestation, which is heavily dependend on the big G.
