Someone I knew would just be like, "wanna date?" and I would feel bad to say no and convince myself I could give them a chance. Then I would be in a committed relationship until they usually broke with me or cheated and left. <br/><br/>Turns out I just never had a word for asexual growing up and that would have solved so many things for me to have the concepts we can talk about now. <br/><br/>I am likely to chuck my shoe at the next person to so much as infer that I just haven't met the right person yet, though.
