Time has changed her body since the last time I saw her. She is suffering from a hip injury and many of the aches and pains that come with old age. It was difficult to see how much she has aged.<br/><br/>But one thing has never changed—her sense of humor. She still made us smile and laugh.<br/><br/>As I sat with her today, I realized something important. Our grandparents don&#39;t always need expensive gifts or grand gestures. What they need most is our time. A simple conversation. A visit. A few moments of listening and sharing stories.<br/><br/>To all grandchildren: visit your grandparents while you still can. Call them. Sit with them. Listen to their stories.
