Today's #CreatureFeatures line up a fav in my collection Jeepers creepers 2001, Jeepers creepers 2 2003, Jeepers creepers 3 2017 & Jeepers creepers reborn 2022. I really enjoyed the 1st 2 movies & I didn't mind the 3rd 1 but the Reborn was not what I was hoping for. It took me 3 hours to watch Castle freaks cuz when I started I was waiting for a call back from Telus which took about an hour. Today's #Killers lineup, I like #Chucky but I was never really a fan of the Child's play franchise until Jennifer Tilly was in Bride of Chucky 1998 which I unfortunately haven't collected yet & couldn't find streaming in Aug when I normally do my possessions movies. When I saw I was finally able to watch Bride of Chucky I pulled Seed of Chucky 2004 & Curse of Chucky 2013 off the shelf since they are killers. Today I'm clearing some of the streaming stuff + the stuff I have on the PVR off my list. I had recorded Prom night 2: Hello Mary Lou & I found Prom night 3: the Last kiss on Shudder but I couldn't find the 4th movie this year. I remember when Prom night 2 came out I was so pissed that they changed it from a slasher flick to a possession movie so much so that I didn't watch it for years until I finally broke down & gave them a try & found I still enjoyed them. #MyHorrorfest #Possessions #Horror

Stupid medical appointment kind of blew my mood today but I did get a few movies in before I left. I found a couple of '80s favorites, Demons 1986 on Tubi & Night of the demons 1988 on Shudder then when I came home I threw on my copy of Night of the demons 2010. I was originally so disappointed when I found it cuz I thought maybe it was the 1 I remember from the '80s but they did a pretty good job on the remake & I'll keep looking for those 80's movies. #MyHorrorfest #Demons #Horror #Possessions

August is now my #Possessions month as I moved it from my original lineup from past years. I'm not exactly sure if I believe in #Ghosts & #Demons but I'm open-minded to the possibilities & they do make wild movies to watch. I have about 75 movies in the collection for this category & found about just as many on the various streaming services I have currently access to so I should be able to do about 5 a day & I look forward to seeing which movies inspire more shelf art painting! #MyHorrorfest

Aug 1 is the start to 🎶 the most wonderful time of my year! 🎵 #MyHorrorfest is a 5 month marathon broken down into 5 categories of #Possessions, #Undead, #Killers, #Disasters & #CreatureFeatures. Surprisingly last year I watched 665 movies + various series in the 5 months & I think it's funny that I was 1 shy of 666! I didn't even realize it until today when I was looking up the numbers from last year that I put on a post note & stuck to the inside cover of my movie/series watching journal.
