This is the case for both Preview *and* Adobe Acrobat:<br/><br/>- If the app is not running, dragging a PDF over the app icon on the dock does nothing; the app doesn&#39;t launch. <br/>- Double-clicking or selecting “Open With&#34; from the contextual menu *will* launch the app and open the first document. <br/>- Any successive documents will *not* open via double-clicking/the contextual menu/dragging to the dock. <br/>- They will, however, be opened if “Open...&#34; is selected from the File menu within the app.<br/><br/>- The same thing does *not* happen with TextEdit files or OpenOffice files - those apps behave normally and open successive files. It&#39;s just PDFs in Preview and Adobe Acrobat.<br/><br/>Any ideas? I find it odd that the problem exists over different apps, but not different filetypes. It lets me forgive myself for past failings, and develop strategies tailored to the condition so going forward I can do better... a little... 😉<br/><br/>One of them is #ADHD - I do regret that I didn&#39;t know enough about this condition when I was a teacher. Aside from helping me cope with the job, I could have better served a lot of students over the years.
