the funny part is for the last year or so that I have been watching JLF I have never had a problem receiving payments, then all of a sudden about 2 weeks ago they all began to fail...I assumed it was something on my end that glitched, I also could not receive from another random person that sent me some sats...so I took that as confirmation that the problem was on my end, maybe that was a bit premature....can you receive payouts from JLF??

sorry just read your message....my 2 channels are to ACINQ and to LNBG....both large and well connected nodes...ACINQ is for 500,000 sats and the LNBG is slightly larger...and yes both channels are balaced allowing plenty of liquidity to flow in both directions on both channels.

I'm starting to think that speed wallet is not using TOR(start9 is TOR exclusive right now) and that is the reason all speed payments are failing (I think jerry switched to paying out through speed instead of strike to save fees) but rizful seems to have worked....that might be good information....

I ripped apart my whole LND setup, alby, and zeus.....re-established my node and pointed everything back at it, created an extra channel so now I have 2 balanced channels (acinq and lnbig) one for a million sats and one for half a million sats and still Jerry cannot zap me my winnings(210 sats)....I will try to get help from others from now on...thank you for for your help up to this point.

LOL....agreed Cryptowolf.. my situation is about as complex as it can get, but as @The Daniel stated above. If you already use Alby hub you can find the friends and family app and do the custody for him.... You can link his wallet, if you chose Alby Go for instance, which is super basic, total starter wallet, he could spend and zap as well as most importantly stack sats.... I get caught up in self custody, but keeping it in the family is just as good for a person his age....plus you can set a monthly spend budget for each friend or family member...I always feel teaching the importance of self custody at the beginning of the journey helps amplify the significance of not your keys not your coins. Just some words to share with you all...Last February I celebrated surviving my first four years in Bitcoin..you might say I have seen the mountain top and the dry valley below at least once...as we begin our ascent yet again toward new highs. I have been reflecting on the changes that I have undergone during my transformation into the bitcoiner you see before you now..I remember setting up a Coinbase account and eventually making my first purchase...all I remember was not really knowing what I was doing...eventually one figures a few things out as one does and I managed to get a hardware wallet, I remember the feeling of checking my hardware wallet and seeing my satoshi's sitting there,where they sit to this day in my control. more recently, at least for the past year I have been running a node on both BTC and the lighting network... I really like Lightning I think having an outlet to pass sat's around is really satisfying for anyone who has never spent a sat before...It opens doors of thought.. now here I am...a regular lurker here on Nostr....I kind of like the type of community that is forming, one that values value... I am approaching my one year anniversary on nostr soon and in looking back I feel like I'm a whole different person than I was 4.5 years ago, before this journey started....If there is one thing I can attest to is that there is truth in the addage "You don't change Bitcoin, Bitcoin changes you."
