The EXOspikes were useless today. Took my MICROspikes crampons (“Grödel”) and went for a 90 minute speed hike. Good session to just be out there, enjoy the weather and train doing secure steps with the crampons. It was quite nice actually and one could see the city lights from the top of the hills. Aber halt anders anstrengend. Man ändert ja die Pace andauernd. Und auch die Füße/Fußgelenke müssen mehr arbeiten. Der große Unterschied ist dass man im Kopf müder wird da man doch die ganze Zeit und ohne Unterbrechung Entscheidungen treffen muss bei der Wahl des „Weges“. Und dem studieren der Karte (orientierung).
