Saw a cheap screening of the Super Mario Galaxy movie last night - enjoyed it both for all the references and some little fuzzies, albeit it was about 10 minutes after I was out and about adulting. Not sure what compelled me since I haven't been to the cinema in 7 years, but you can blame that on how few movies I see in general in a given year.

I did decide to get padded, into my sleeper and washed my pacis before bed though. I don't think I've touched on this before, however for trans day of visibility I want to give my utmost respect and support to all of you. The impact of being present in circles well represented by trans people about 8 years ago (when I was 21) not only made me an ally, but directly helped me become more and more open about my own identity - in terms of defining myself as queer and letting my little self out in the world more than I likely would have otherwise.

This is a big one to me, like if you're of a certain age and have used a computer for any length of time, you eventually intuitively learn a lot of hows and whys, like... deleting dll files are bad, porn sites might give you viruses, you can't in fact download RAM - there's tons of technical and non technical examples, but there's something to be said about that period around 1995-2010 where using a computer for fun or productivity inherently required some critical thinking that is completely removed from the end user as much as it can be now.

If you somehow only used MacOS that entire time, this probably applies in certain jank areas I can't relate to hopefully.

Good news - nothing abnormal for someone so drowned in sound, hearing is good. Learned a handful of things regarding tinnitus hygiene though, I knew certain cannabis strains could exacerbate it but not alcohol and most importantly for my interests, caffeine. Also got some advice on over-the-ear headphones and why my right ear seems biased towards being worse.

I've had moments where I've pulled rabbits out of hats in hobbyist hacking and adjacent areas, ones that feel like "I made the world a little bit better".

My problem is how other people can do it so much more frequently, or the scale of it is so much greater. I think I've been living with imposter syndrome for half my life by now, a lot of it probably by proxy of being told I was "gifted" or "talented" as a kid. I recognized how trivial and simplistic some of that praise was in the moment, even.

Posts like this remind me how disconnected I actually am from the larger babyfur "community" - I've never been negatively called out for it in this example, but I sympathize as someone who absolutely loathes this idea of "I'm a babyfur, but also, somehow, I'm selectively intolerant to people not as socially acceptable as myself" (or the majority dogpile opinion).

It can feel impossible to reject it, but if you can stop and feel out the situation - like, intelligently talk yourself down in the moment and seeing if you can let it pass.

Lived with debilitating OCD for roughly 11 years of my life, started getting really bad around the time I turned 15, left high school because of it however I'll spare the details - I don't fully believe I've figured out how all of it manifests, but after having a breakdown from cannabis use disorder and the falling out with my former best friend because I knew it wasn't helping me after a year of indulging heavily when I was 25-26.

I fell into a sleep deprived state where my symptoms were almost entirely dead - the amount of things I was able to do that would cripple me with fear before was like someone flipped a switch, but I didn't know exactly where it came from. While mentally and physically self rehabilitating from all of that, I was picking apart the "why" of it while I had the ability to not be so mentally crippled from it, and I arrived that a big part of it was a life-long irrational fear of paranormal things. The negative things that would occur for me were all based in scenarios that are not possible. Coming right after I basically spilled some of my deepest shit to my mother I had long buried, very possibly correlates to PTSD that I never registered as being that traumatic along with never addressing a very real fear of anything paranormal.

It still manifests, just not nearly as bad as it did for a long period of my life. The thing which really helped me sustain that accidental "second chance" was an article regarding how not to cope with it - OCD is an anxiety disorder based out of fear, and the more you validate that fear, the more it will manifest and control your decision making. I was completely lost by the time I actually admitted I had a problem to my mother, so the thought of saying "fuck you no" was almost impossible. That reset I got was like, having all those years of living with it but now with so much more knowledge on how to cope with it.

I seriously do give you the best wishes for overcoming those fears - I'm not sure how bad it is for you right now, but know that the more you persist and tell that parasite to fuck off, the less it will bother you at all. :blobcathugyou:

up - hm, debating if this gets returned next week - I had the zipper clip off on one side and very nearly killed the mood, but managed to get it back on with some composure and pliers... beyond that, I feel like it's a bit too big on me near the chest area.

the zipper part "might" be my fault adjusting my diaper without it entirely, but surely I would of had to flex the seams much too hard for it to happen like that?

I think it's some recent ruminating I did last month on a few of my earliest memories, and one of them I recall was being stuck in my crib as a literal 3 year old, my older siblings in the same room were awake and left the room one morning while I was (realistically probably relatively short amount of time) upset and whining before my mother came and let me out.

I genuinely don't think I'm afraid or adverse to being in a crib now (I certainly wasn't in my mind palace growing up) but it's a weird memory all the same and one I recently had been hung up on.

I even reconfirmed with my mother that, yeah, I liked to wonder off too much and didn't get a big kid bed until I was nearly 4 (home video evidence of me talking about the big kid bed is dated about 2 months before). Near as I can tell and gather, was out of diapers for like a year or more before I was out of the crib. I kind of hate that juxtaposition in hindsight, feels like they're one in the same to me. :meowcry:

I unfortunately got a bit too greedy and cut a portion of the actual SAP near the end, but not horribly so... I'm hoping I don't regret my decision of using this as a stuffer tonight! 🙃

I'm aware this reply kind of misses the point of the joke, but I believe in documented literature, it was about 50 years ago diaper fetishism was just being recognized in the form of articles written for psychology publications. The proper old ABDL history that exists is genuinely fascinating... the writers of this stuff would probably be eager to get to know Harpo at least!

I need this catharsis more in my life. I can't stress enough how huge the emotional pull that comes with this, even if so far in my lifetime it's been very few and far between.

Their was a little I met up with 18 months ago maybe, it wasn't productive to anything further but the highlight of that encounter was... having someone diaper me. Just pure happiness I can't quite ever tap into in isolation.

I often define mine as 4-5, but it probably does fall closer 3-4 ...
