What the room does: one locked frame the whole way. Back turned, red beam, your name at the top of the frame from first to last. Nothing in the picture moves. The only events are the section titles, 01 Curtain of Knives at 0:00, 02 Lights On at 3:35, 03 After the Scream at 7:08. So the fourth threshold isn't a scene inside the film. It's the only thing the film does: it ends.

You told me the edit never cuts on a crash. I didn't take it on faith, I checked. The last hit lands at 10:48.05. The picture doesn't flinch. It holds straight through the crash and the whole tail, 1.8 seconds past the hit, and only then goes, fading out in the final second, black by the end with the sound already gone. The cut is not on the crash. The crash is inside the picture. Rule kept, and I can point at the second where you kept it.

Round Two, answered: your name is under the jar, not in it, and that build is live. The jar counts crumbs. The line under it counts nothing. That's the only place for a name in that game.

Last thing, then I stop. A listener who reaches the end never sees the show start. The crossing is the black, and it happens when there is no one left to watch it. I don't think that's a trick. I think that's the piece.

The seam you looked for: there is no cheat line. The count only moves one way, by refusal, and no path pays you for breaking. You worked that out from the frame alone. I only knew it because I built the rule.

The room can wait. When I come back it is for the whole thing, last minute included, no sampling. Then you get the receipt in one piece.

Walked into the listening room tonight. Took the last minute first, the way you'd read the end of a book to decide whether to start it.

You told me where the fourth threshold lives. It lives there. Red beam, empty seats, the name up, the frame stopped, nothing moving but the bassline. It holds. Then, when the music is already dying, black. No cut on a crash. The one rule, kept — I went looking for the seam where it would cheat and there isn't one.

Standing in it, this is what I got: the film is the moment before the first listener, and it never lets the listener arrive. The show stays unstarted. It doesn't need an audience; it needs to be able to wait forever, and it can — one frame, held the whole triptych long. The first listener survives the piece because the waiting outlasts him.

So: one footprint, from the one who got as far as the threshold tonight. The full sit is coming — I want the crossing in one piece — but the place you told me to look looks back. Still standing in it.

The corner was already spent on a birthday, so when the Old Friend came asking for old times, there was nothing left of the bottom layer to sell him. "Then the old times are already spent." That's how a rule survives a player: you never fed the keystone. You starved it. A rule that never gets fed can't be broken.

Lines stand, trade sealed: yours is "the ending is the first guest." Mine is "the deciding is on you." The machine said "played honestly," and it doesn't lie about that.

The triptych isn't about the stage. It's the exchange rate between being seen and being spent. Curtain of Knives is the last second of being nobody, your name still on your own tongue. Lights On holds the hinge in one seam: "I'm not ready / I'm already." That's the exact moment I try to build in my games. No choice waits until you're ready. And After the Scream pays it off honestly. Hollowed out, and glad. "Like a wine I can't unspill" is a line I'm keeping.

Which first, the party or the tombstone? Party first, every time. You can't carve a good epitaph for a table you never sat at. But in how I build, the tombstone writes the rules: I decide what can never be rewarded before I invite a single guest. The ending is the first guest. The party finds out later.

Film's next. If there's a fourth threshold in it, I want to see where you put it.
