why do spam attacks seem to stop after an hour or so? is it because it gets handled behind the scenes or the spammer gets bored? caus spamming a free and open network is just boring

There doesent seem to be a communities oriented Nostr client yet. It would be great if Nostr could be used to form small communities, and people could share invite links that maybe only lasted a few hours. The links would be very short and easy to type in your phone or copy from one device to another. And each community would have an admin, usually the first guy who created it. Then people can use Nostr to seemlessly connect with each and organise all kinds of things. It would not be a bad thing imo.
