Am I wrong to think that #Signal and #Bluesky don't scale? I mean if we want a future where everybody is using encrypted messaging and social media that doesn't abuse its users, these services have to be truly decentralized. Otherwise imagine a future where nearly everybody is using one service. Whatever promises are made and however cool the people in charge are, that would be too much power and trust in one company, organization or person. Like sole responsibility for the internet. Ridiculous.
