This is about the twentieth performative “shutdown” charade the government has pantomimed, and every single time, the propagandists parade out the poor government tax leeches workers who suffer “hardship” because even though they’ll still get their full paychecks, it might be a week or two late.
No sympathy here. This is basic home economics. If you haven’t noticed the trend by now and, oh, I dunno, opened a savings account, you deserve whatever mild and temporary hardship you get.
