Emeritus Prof Christopher May on Nostr: Hardly surprisingly Labour's tin ear for EU politics has meant the 'reset' ...
Hardly surprisingly Labour's tin ear for EU politics has meant the 'reset' negotiations, which were meant to have produced an initial security focussed agreement with Brussels, have stalled in light of EU demands around the revival of youth mobility scheme(s), and EU members' demand for access to UK waters for fishing fleets.
The problem is the EU sees the 'reset' as transactional, while the UK thinks cooperation is our right as a neighbour... but Brexit poisoned that well!
