We only RO filter our drinking/ice water. But depending on your setup this can generate up to 4:1 waste:drinking water. That’s a LOT wasted water and it’s full concentrated contaminants. Currently I’m experimenting with dumping it into my grey water filtration system but I have no way of testing the output for PFAS or microplastics. I figure it has to be better than just dumping it right into the sewer.
