I just briefly checked a message thread in Teams, and it looks totally unhinged out of context:
08:59 Colleague: “Are you able to review the deck I sent over?”
09:01 Me: “I have not slept”
09:01Me: “I am not caffeinated”
*Colleague is typing*
09:01 Me: “and I’m loaded up on more legally controlled substances than seems safe, but I am assured by the medicine man that it is”
*Colleague stops typing*
09:05 Me: “PLEASE confirm that the email I just got is inaccurate”
eDiscovery will disagree, but there was a pleasant exchange in between, and I’d totally forgotten the word ‘doctor’ existed.
