Pretty disappointed by the #LFC manager this morning.
Asking his players who did 120 minutes against one of the best teams in Europe the other night to go again to a man was a poor decision. The lack of mental and physical agility in the starting XI against a team who really wanted a trophy for the first time in 70 years was telling from the start.
Doubly bad when he chose to bring on an obviously unfit player, especially when Elliot and Chiesa did so well when they came on ten minutes later.
Slot has done well to take this team almost to the title, but if he tries this on in our next game - against Everton – they’ll give the Premier League challengers hope again.
