Mastodon is an easy scapegoat for enterprise and community alike. It's just hard enough to make most fail but more importantly it represents something that cannot be controlled through acquisition.
The capital-rich enterprise want us to believe this project cannot succeed because it's decentralized.
Quite the contrary: this project can _only_ succeed because it is decentralized.
