It is a calm Sunday morning here and in an odd coincidence, there is only one teen at home (the others are away on holiday and at sleepovers) and it is quiet and a little strange for the house to be so empty. Not terrible, just different.

Plans for today are a catch-up with my brother and his family, trumpet practice and some cleaning and decluttering. I'm consciously limiting the to-dos but I also really need to meal plan for the next fortnight too.

Outside, the corn is nearly ready to be picked and I am going to soak the kangaroo paws to be planted tomorrow. We're expecting some mild weather and they've been waiting to go in the ground for weeks. I'll take some pictures when I plant them
