I fucked up my calendar and missed a hearing for the first time in 13 years of practicing today. It wasn’t a big deal and not an important hearing and everything worked out. I got to apologize to the judge and informed my client who was gracious as well.
But it’s hard to explain just how stressful this was.
First missed hearing ever.
