Things that really gets me with modern phone apps is that they don’t seem tos tor any state at all. This means that I get a notification and when I open the app it needs to load the stuff from a remote server.
Or my Garmin outdoor app that connects to my bike computer, can’t see my latest bike ride from the bike computer, unless I am connected to the internet.
Email with summary in my notifications, open app, takes 10 seconds to load.
Feels like we’ve gone backwards to the mainframe times.
