If your position about a new technology being used by the general population is "it has no place in schools" then who are you expecting to teach young people about it?
Because they will learn.
They'll learn from trial-and-error, they'll learn from their peers, they'll learn from TikTok videos.
And all of that will have the focus on minimising the effort they have to put into the more pointless parts of schooling.
Teachers and academics call this 'cheating'. And then blame the students.
