yeah, the fucking linux kernel didn't update the fucking source code for the amdgpu driver to the current state until about june this year
so, again, who is causing the problem here?
obviously not AMD, they wrote the driver, it was available
if i had been paranoid and building my kernels myself i could have solved the problem that way, it's just :facepalm: seriously what the fuck linus, bro, not cool, company supports open source, releases working version for new hardware, and fucking linux releases don't support it
it probably wasn't just linuus but probably also debian, ubuntu and all the rest as well, the whole industry has been infiltrated, and they are pushing intel and nvidia and nvidia is closed source so if you want to play games, sorry, no dice, have fun staying open source fucking driver what the fuck?????!!!!!
