Actually he could save some himself by going outside and just get a stick from a tree. Saves loads on fabrication and potassium chlorate/sulfur poisoning. Unless of course you are intentionally trying to shorten your lifespan, but in that case there are also cheaper and more effective ways then matchsticks.
