I also think Bitcoin will help a great deal in lowering the price of clean energy so that it's viable to overproduce, so grids based upon intermittent sources are more reliable. Miners in demand response programs help with the peak-shaving and valley-filling of the duck curve, and coupled with load-shifting from storage, indexpensive, reliable, clean energy is within our grasp.
