Serious question: Do you also apply this principle to AI generated CP? What about real CP, just sitting on someone's hard drive, not produced by them? That's also "just information" after all, so does it get to be freely shared as well?

There's a lot of "information" that's not protected by the 1st A, and that's a good thing. Among those is incitement to violence, and defamation, if I'm not mistaken. I'm not a lawyer nor a US citizen though, and would much rather look at this from an ethical point of view.
