"content": "Took Kid4 to meet a friend at the pool this morning and forgot my phone at home! Ack! What to do... especially since I had not met this friend or the parents before. Luckily, I had my laptop so I messaged Kid1 on discord, got him to keep my phone by him so he could relay messages. \n\nIt worked great, and I settled down at the pool cafe and worked on my chapter and... uh... was really focused and managed to get a heap done and I have a sneaking suspension that's directly related to not having my phone with me?? Lol. Phones aren't great for attention spans. WHO KNEW.\n\nAnyway we came home and this arvo, in between loads of washing, I managed some garden time and it was just beautiful outside 🥰 Pulled weeds, mulched around the elderflower, struck a bunch of rosemary cuttings. The apples are starting to grow, so I expect parrots to start frequenting the garden more often to check on them.
