FWIW, I published the Activity Intents FEP which fixes one of fedi’s biggest cross platform usability issues. It’s been adopted by Mastodon, WordPress, PixelFed, & more.
I also built 100% data portability into Emissary, based on the W3C LOLA portability spec.
People are working on all the issues. This one’s just next on the list.
