People, unlike Corporations, can't be moral and ethical only when it is convenient or profitable. A person claiming to do so yet abandoning those virtues when it becomes hard, never really believed in them to begin with.
Corporations (and especially BigTech) unlike People, are legally bound to only concern themselves with Profit (ie shareholder value) regardless of morales or ethics and will therefore only concern themselves with such when it is Profitable to do so and not a moment longer.
