Maybe a separate option for "nuke mute" which mutes a user, including all threads with which that user interacts (responds, reposts, likes, zaps) EXCEPT the notes and reposts of those you're directly following.

You should still be able to pull up the muted/nuked threads by selecting a note response posted by someone you follow, with just a warning confirmation about seeing blocked/muted/nuked content.

If we go that route, be sure the warning displays the supposed name (and any client-local alias) of the offensive party.
