Maybe you have a gas leakage on the outside unit. Dont know which type of aircon you have single or double. We have a lot of problems with aircons here all the time cuz we use them throughout the year... mostly is the gas leak or if the current goes high it poops our main boards. But dont forget that it can be something so simple as your aircon remote battery. I had my aircon once not cooling well just due to the remotes battery being low that it was putting it on but not correctly. It was giving some wrong input to the board. This compressors are strong they shouldnt just poop out like that...
